rps
I still haven't found any yet. But some one on craigslist in jefco is trying to sell some fresh picked ones for forty a pound When I lived in London, the markets there often had them for 26 pounds per pound. In todays money that is more than $52 per pound.

eric1978
Game On! How do you know when to pick them? Meaning, if you came back tomorrow would they be twice the size or starting to go bad? I've seen some monsters...how can you tell when it's time?

ness
Nah, you don't wait. Their lifespan is real short, plus other critters eat them. When you see them, you pick them. Heading out in a few minutes now that I've got my chores done. John
BilletHead
Mrs. Billethead and I hit our spots in Vernon County today. Did pretty fair. 115 assorted sizes were found. From little greys little finger sized up to the size in her hand. So we just had to eat a few with some Ahi tuna we caught at Sam's club. We like our morels cooked on the charcoal grill. Grilled in a grill basket. Coat them first with a mix of butter, minced garlic and salt and pepper. Keep them stirred until toasty brown. Food shots............. Marty "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead " One thing in life is for sure. If you are careful you can straddle the barbed wire fence but make one mistake and you will be hurting" BilletHead P.S.
