I can help if you need machine shop services to create a new one or modify an old one. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Smalliebigs Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 I can help if you need machine shop services to create a new one or modify an old one. I guess I should have just called you.....I can't find anything shorter than 11 inches.
eric1978 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I bet you could modify one. Bi-metal blade in a recip saw should do it.
Wayne SW/MO Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Are you talking about the post itself? What brand and how does it attach to the seat? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Smalliebigs Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 Springfield....they make an 11 and 13 inch.....oh, it is a 3/4 inch threaded pin at the bottom of the pedestal
Wayne SW/MO Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I guess what I'm wondering is that if it is welded to the seat support it could be torched off the plate, the post cut and rewelded to your specs. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
fishinwrench Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I scrapped about a dozen old pedestals a month or so ago, who knew? It never fails that when I get tired of tripping over stuff and finally just pitch it....someone always hollers about needing it. Typical.
