Justin Spencer Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Aren't the 1800's earlier than the 1960's? Al Gore said yes, so I doubt it. Feathers and Fins Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 You might try spell check before immediately calling others idiots. Good bye. D'oh 1960 - 1800 = 160 years earlier huh... My problem with all these ( early reports ) is the world population was smaller and many areas were not keeping detailed records with the attention to detail as they are now. Heck there is still a lot not know about the Brownsville Hurricane even of 1933 and even more distructive Galveston in 1900. We just did not have the tech, or population to accurately tell the tape. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Tim Smith Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Those are some really tempting little cripples to pick off here at the end, but I do believe our host has made it clear that his patience has been used up. Apologies for for my parting shot, Lilley. I'm done on this thread.
Al Agnew Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Yep, I'm sure Phil appreciated the civil discussion...but when the name calling starts it's time to shut it down. It was 46 degrees this morning out here in Montana
Smalliebigs Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 How you guys can question Al Gore is beyond me......he created the internet for christ sake!!!!! http://youtu.be/a9wmczxnT3c

lee G. Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Al, what is the elevation where you are?? Thats really low! Seems like anyway!
ozark trout fisher Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 Caught this one a couple of weeks ago on the Yampa. Can't go there now because it's under a voluntary closure due to the drought. Maybe I can find some gar instead. That about sizes it up. A bummer about the Yampa. It is one of my favorite rivers out there, and as a matter of fact I'm planning to fish it this coming winter. I hope the trout population doesn't suffer too much over the summer, but who am I kidding? Heat, lack of moisture, and non-existent snowpack will do that. I can't wait to get up to Michigan in a few days, to trade our record breaking heat for their record breaking heat. The only difference is that their record highs are about 10 degrees cooler...
