Mitch f Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Yorky isnt a good pattern for gator. Pommerainian<sp> and Siamese <sp> are the to prime patterns with other small mammals working pretty well. Serious story, I had some people move in next to me in FL they had 5 Poms and let them out one day came home from work and they were "missing" they put up flyers all over the place and finally went door to door ASKING IF ANYONE had seen their dogs. When they hit my house I told them "Walley had see them" They asked who Walley was and I pointed to the 10ft gator sunning itself in their back yard! Its one of those "DUH" moments. You move to FL you have a swamp in your backyard and you let your feeders er little dogs run right along the shore, What do you think will happen? I went out on numerous calls for gators in yards and when you get there the hosue has a pond, canal or lake behind it with no fence. I always laughed when i saw the small dog missing signs up (especially) when it said Last seen playing in a back yard on Lake "whatever"! You just had to sit there and go REALLY. I heard someone released some Great Whites in Bennett Springs. i heard that too.....i dont remember where though.... odd Fish always lose by being "got in and dressed." So the next ime I was in Henderson LA I saw a gator sunning itself on the Bayou Aimee and he wasn't wearing any shoes. So don't believe any of those alligator tales your buddy is sending you........ Ron there are no Sharks in Missouri because a member of the River Des Peres Yacht Club sometime in the distant past was appointed MO Shark Patrol and after due dilligence and many late night interviews inside establishments that featured a flashing neon sign could find no evidence of sharks........However he did get into a squable with law enforcement over using MO highway patrol door decal with shark covering highway on the door decal. I heard it was settled amicably late one night while sharing a product from 721 Pestalozi Street under on of the aformention flashing neon signs.......This was related to me Capt'n Bob Kearns of the RDPYC so it's got to be a no bullsh$% tale.....maybe

It might have origonated with Justin Wilson. The shark patrol is mostly true maybe.......Maybe I'll tell you some time Cap't Bobs tale of Frog giggin' at Old Monroe and how getting passed by your boat on Hwy 79 is never a good thing.......

Someone please rid me of that ! Kayaks are for dickheads like biggiesmalls I have nothing what so ever to do with the thing that is showing up at the top of this forum.......I have more motorized vessels than non and will soon be buying a jetrig.......that's not my challenge and I am not affiliated with it one bit. I do know Mike and he is very honest and genuinely wants to promote Smallmouth fishing on rivers with a catch, photo, and release style tourney......it sounds pretty cool to me....I really think the results and pics of the catch and releases will be very interesting. I plan to participate and am excited about it but this dickhead has nothing to do with it.
