gotmuddy Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I dont think there will be any fog tomorrow, the wind is kicking it outside. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Ham Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I'd bet there are still plenty of limits caught, but they might only catch 20 keepers instead of 40 keepers. Crankbait has been the easy choice so far and with wind it should still work, but the leaders aren't gonna die with it. These guys are good. They'll adapt quickly if need be. I might let them have it for another day and chase trout or crappie today instead. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
gotmuddy Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I would not attempt fishing with all the added pressure. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

roy_eros Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 What a fun week! I've been able to make it to weigh in every day. Me and a buddy put in at Diamond City on Friday. Saw Elite boys roll into that area by about 7:00. Polaniuk and Myers are fishing the same small creek. As for the fishing we spent half our time watching and half fishing. Pulled in 60-70 fish with 25 or so keeps. Best 5 were 14 pounds and lost one 6 pound class fish right at the boat. The crank bait bite is absolutely nuts, the fish just absolutely murder it!
Fishin Hodge Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 Brandon P putting on a real show for us this week. My guess is the Elites will be back and Bull Shoals may be seeing some more anglers. I got on a crankbait bite a couple weeks ago but I did not see it being as strong as it has been and actually thought it was drying up. Boy was I wrong. Never even guessed it would be won on a deep crankbait, and barring a miracle for someone it will be. I watched Russ Lane fishing yesterday and he was a class act; he caught one over 5 while I was watching him and I really enjoyed watching him. I tried not to bother him but we ended up speaking some. He had been cranking steeper banks all week long and felt like the majority of everyone doing well was doing the same. A lot of top finishers between diamond city and tucker from what I understand. All I can say is these guys are good; surprised at the consistency of the 15 pound plus sacks. Amazing!
Bill Jr. Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Watched some of the feeds and the weigh in today. Looked to be a tougher day out there today but can't wait to get down there again!
Members lockjaw Posted April 22, 2012 Members Posted April 22, 2012 Does anyone know when this will be on TV?
Jerry Rapp Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Chapman started within sight of take off, but it sounds like most were at the Sugar Loafs or above. Did anyone fish Theodosia area?
