I like this forum, and I probably won't stop posting here anytime soon. But you have to be so darned careful what you say, it just gets ridiculous. Some people get tired of being lambasted by a member every time they post anything, so they leave. I think that's understandable.

The only reason you have to be careful about what you say is if it smells like BS. Some people get tired of reading BS.

You have posted here quite a lot over the years and nobody has hassled you. Sure we may have disagreements on issues but, that is how life goes. You post from the heart. You don't use forum as free advertisment of yourself and your business in practically every post.

And low and behold, here's some more nastiness, just going back the other way. I don't mind arguing. I usually enjoy it. But when it comes to this point, it just gets really dumb. I don't think anyone should quit posting here, because everyone adds something...Ron, Chief, or anyone else. When it gets to the point where someone feels like they have to do that, it's a problem.

Even if you think someone is full of BS, that doesn't mean he is not worth listening to. Not one person on this forum has the secret insight on all the different topics. I'm fully aware of my weaknesses and can learn from anyone. Best thing to do is what Eric did and just let it go.

On the wildflower subject-

It's all about priorities, I really don't care about anyone transplanting wildflowers for their yard. Just don't gig or over-harvest any smallmouth and I'm good to go.
