Members kirbydog Posted May 10, 2012 Author Members Posted May 10, 2012 I agree, I think joint health is the key. I have noticed my aches and pains seem to mostly go away in the warmer months.
Rolan Duffield Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 I'm just 81 and glad to say I can still enjoy my fly fishing and golf. Don't have the energy for long outings though I'm walking and exercising daily and im still upright. That's a must do if you want to stay active. I believe your a lot happier and healthier when your doing something you really enjoy. Sometimes our bodies tell us we're not able to do as much as we used to though we can still enjoy life, friendships and our sports. Rolan

Oddly, it was the left one I had to have repaired. I could throw the bait, but I couldn't walk the dog, hold the rod against a good fish, or use the net. When it reaches that point for you PM me and I'll send info on a good surgeon. mixermarkb 1

bferg Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I think any of you who are over 35 should get off the water and leave the big fish for us younger guys- for your own health...I am only thinking of what is best for you.

You'll get me off the water when you pull my rod from my cold dead hands. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart.
