Tackle Warehouse Customer Service

I would like to convey a very positive experience I had with tacklewarehouse prior to the holiday weekend.

On thursday may 24th I ordered some products. friday tw put up a 15% memorial day discount and free stickers for orders over $50. I emailed TW to see if I could get that discount applied to my order and some stickers for my kayaks. I also explained that I would be happy to buy more products as I realized the discount would drop my order below $50.

Tier 1 customer service sent a generic, "your order has already been packed" email, followed by a "your order has been shipped" email. I asked if the issue could be escalated at which point a manager emailed me explaining that TW was sorry about the 'issue' and they would be happy to take my suggestion of adding more products, applying the discount for the entire order, and shipping those products seperate with some stickers. I even offered to pay shipping, but he insisted TW would take care of me.

I didn't take 'no' for an answer from tier 1. I've worked Customer service and tech support, I know how the lazy ones operate. "NO" or any other bs is not acceptable in the real world where customers pay your bills. $50 order is pocket change to TW, having a happy customer is worth all the $ in the world.

If you don't have tacklewarehouse.com bookmarked, do yourself a favor and stop by, check them out. They know how to treat customers and they understand the good press that comes along with that kind of service.

Great Job Tackle Warehouse! I will also add, their selection of lures is pretty stunning. Stuff you aren't likely to find many other places and you will never find at bps or cabelas. (cheaper too but it ships from california, so 5-7 days ground is the norm) they have great shipping rates though.

When I shop online, TW is for sure one of the first places I look. They do customer service right, and have a tremendous inventory of name brand stuff.
