Well it has been 1111. something for a while and the fall rains have just slowed the drop. Any new thoughts on how low she will go? We should have some good brush when it comes back up.

Well last two months were dry and only 2 feet of dropping since it is 1109.71 this morning. Dec thu Feb are traditional dry months then the rain should be here in March thru June.

I am thinking the low should hit around 1107 around the end of Feb.

Any new predictions? What boat launches are or will close?

I'm wondering if the Hickory Creek COE ramp is still open, it get pretty dicey in low water. A couple of weeks ago I saw a long range forecast that called for us to have a winter like last year, relatively warm and dry.

I think without any good storms she will go another 3 feet, Pc as said before is getting sketchy, 12 bridge is still in decent shape for launching but another foot and you will have to around the islands to get under the bridge, Rocky Branch your already putting your trailer in sand to launch so without 4x4 dont try if the lake falls another 2 feet ( back cove ramp ) front ramp is still fine. Always be careful launching at the dam for rocks people let their kids throw on it.

There are many dangers on the lake right now from rocks that are not visable but will do damage and timber. Its a good time to get out with GPS and mark structure and more importantly take pictures!!!!

I put in at blue Springs last week.

There were several softball sized rocks on the ramp.

I like Beaver when its real low, less idiots running around.

Y'all need to be careful in front of Copper Mine resort, too. That old tailing pile 200-300 yards directly in front of the resort is only about a foot under the water right now. Not marked in anyway, either. Stay in the channel through there if you're blowing down the lake.
