Getting to fish one time each week would be a great goal. For me it is sporadic. Nothing for 3 or 4 weeks, then 5 days fishing the following week. Kids are amazing, but the fishing part of my brain can't wait for them to grow up a little.

A four year old is fun to take fishing every once in a while, but focused fishing just doesn't take place.

For me it is 20-30 days from September to May. 0-5 from June to August. We have an inground pool and that is soooo nice this time of year. With all of the big boats on the lakes around this state, I am happy to just stay home durring the heat of the summer.

I think i get out maybe 30 times a year? It kinda depends on how much shoulder season fishing i can get in. Seems like i always have some big projects going in feb/mar/apr when i should be fishing. School & related activities get going in august... so mostly between apr & sep.

Twice a week on average. Once a week in the winter months. I go for a solid week about 3 times a year-usually Texas in the fall

or early spring.

No matter how many times I go I never get tired of it but I do find myself quitting in early afternoon during these hot days. Used

to be able to fish all day in the heat when I was younger.

I win. I've already worn out 2 pair of mid-range wading boots, 3 deep cycle batterys, 4 10amp chargers, 2 hitch balls and 1 reciever pin this year. :D

1-3 times a week in the spring time. 2-3 times a month in the summer and fall. gear up winter time and do it all over again the next year.
