Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 9, 2012 Root Admin Posted August 9, 2012 http://www.ozarkanglers.com/lake-taneycomo/files/2012/08/Taney-brown.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="514" /> Kris Nelson had clients out fishing with night crawlers above Short Creek when Rianna Brown from St Louis hooked a very nice fish. It ended up in Kris's net - a 27-inch brown weighing approximately 7.5 pounds. It was released after picture taking.
ciRe Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Sweet! I can't wait for October for my 10 day vacation... Only if I can find some turkey hunting places in Taney county!
Gavin Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Sweet! Long and skinny...but that young lady caught a heck of a fish.
ollie Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I was going to say the same thing Ness! Very happy camper and I really nice brown. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Members Backfin Posted August 9, 2012 Members Posted August 9, 2012 Same trout my buddy caught in February - the same exact markings. Sorry about the picture size - I only got an emailed copy - a better/bigger picture on John's Trout Hollow website. Caught between Short Creek and the River Point ramp. Weighed in (6.7 pounds) and released at Trout Hollow.

LittleRedFisherman Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Wow, those front markings really do look the same. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Members Joe C Posted August 10, 2012 Members Posted August 10, 2012 WOW! Just goes to show you that catch and release does work!
