If I'm not in the mood for a little hand-to-hand, I'll just use the cyanide dart umbrella I picked it up at a KGB flea market back in the 80's.

Your attempts to belittle the people who ccw are transparent and pointless.

Smalliebigs, most the crap you write on this forum has been some of the "stupidest dung" Ive ever read.

I don't carry a gun in the wilderness unless I'm hunting and I only do that once or twice a year. Don't need one when Im fishing or hiking, what am I gonna shoot the fish and trees? I used to carry a bb gun when camping to keep the raccoons at bay, but don't anymore, havent had a coon attack in some time. Havent had a people attack in...ever. So to you pistol toters, to me you guys are the biggest threats on the river. I imagine it really strokes a man's ego to know that he has the ability to kill whatever whenever. If you want to carry a gun in the wilderness, become a game warden or some kind of law enforcement. At least they "wear their guns outside their belts for all the honest world to see"-TVZ

But whatever its your choice, my perspective is if its too dangerous without carrying a deadly weapon, then you should spend more time on the golf course, and less time in these dark, scary woods...

laugh....another person that tries to predict the future...safe vs bad areas.

Your attempts at interpreting my smart-assery miss the target.

As if someone that decides to carry is "playing a game"...

Right. Playing a game... and most of the pieces are missing.

If your real motive was to protect yourself and your family and be prepared, then you'd all be sporting kevlar and helmets, walking around looking like little gladiators....But you don't because that's uncomfortable and makes you feel like an idiot. But packing the gun, that feels cool.

You couldn't be more wrong.

A couple of thoughts come to mind.

My truck once got egged at the take out. Sure wish I would have been packing so I could have evened the score.

Unless you guys are fishing one handed and holding your piece in the other, I figure the chances of getting the first and maybe even second, third and possibly fourth shot off are pretty slim.

Who's gonna blame me for wrecking this thread?

I was wrong...this is the stupidest thing written on this post.

Definatly !

To this day there has probably been more CCW shooting accidents (citizens injured or possibly killed) than there has been "lives saved" by CCW carriers.

I haven't actually researched the statistics but I bet that is an accurate guess.

I don't care if you are ex-cop/ex-military or ex-wtfever.....that whole "I pack heat everywhere I go" mentality is a bigtime type D personality thinking error.

IMO of course.

and your opinion is crap.
