Chief Grey Bear Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I have not had any trouble yet but I do think 357 on hip might help. rfc As long as you keep it on YOUR hip. As I recall, four of us ran into you one time and you freely handed it to me when I asked to see it. Lucky for you, I guess, I am a nice guy. Could have been the end of ol' Ray Ray. But now that I have new info about the egging of my truck..... timsfly Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I always carry a pistol, mainly because of all the meth heads around, I've carried since I was 14, I don't carry in the state parks, to much temptation to use it But on the creek or in the kayak I always have a pistol, usually it is my .22 S&W ultra light, sometimes I carry my .22 mag. fishinwrench Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 well if they were tweaked out on meth it's highly unlikely they'd be able to shoot straight… You're a tad bit mis-informed, I've watched them throw frisbee, win repeatedly at Horseshoes, and ride moto-X with extreme precision. A true addict is only slow and sluggish when he/she is "crashing". The dung turns 59 year old couch potatoes into 23 y/o atheletes. Why do you think so many people get hooked on it?
Jerry Rapp Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 you never hold back, do you wrench? That's why I have always appreciated you. If I ever get back to LOZ, or you get down in the Arcadia Valley area, we need to fish a bit.
Members kirbydog Posted August 23, 2012 Members Posted August 23, 2012 Probably a dumb question-but if you don't have a concealed carry permit, is it OK to have a gun on your person that is clearly visible-say in a holster outside of your clothes. Guess my point is, IMO, a bad situation if far less likely to escalate if people can see that you are armed.
Members rayfromcrane Posted August 24, 2012 Members Posted August 24, 2012 Mo. is a open carry st. Google mo carry laws for info. rfc
jdmidwest Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 MO does have some areas that you can't Open Carry, but they are populated areas called cities.
