I always carry a pistol, mainly because of all the meth heads around, I've carried since I was 14, I don't carry in the state parks, to much temptation to use it

But on the creek or in the kayak I always have a pistol, usually it is my .22 S&W ultra light, sometimes I carry my .22 mag.

Probably a dumb question-but if you don't have a concealed carry permit, is it OK to have a gun on your person

that is clearly visible-say in a holster outside of your clothes.

Guess my point is, IMO, a bad situation if far less likely to escalate if people can see that you are armed.

MO does have some areas that you can't Open Carry, but they are populated areas called cities.

Ark has some funny rules about loaded weapons near boat accesses.
