Just wondering what you guys think and whether you use either green tinted line or clear line.

I usually use clear line, it easier for my eye to pick it up and detect bites. If im throwing spinner baits, or a shallow crank I like to use green Trilene big game. I throw my jigs on 15lb floro and get just as many bites as anyone. Ill step it up to twenty if im throwing to dock wells with hoists in them.

I always found that size was the important factor. While #6 used to be necessary it seems that one can go up a notch now due to pollution.

After throwing A Rigs last winter in gin clear water, I am beggining to think it doesnt matter as far as what the fish see or doent see.

it does make difference, IMO, on whether or not the bait is moving and how fast.

Agreed; Rapidly moving baits I don't think it matters as

Much......slow moving baits like worms or jigs; that I actually deadstick occasionally.....I think it matters. But I've used green mono/fluoro and clear in equal size with little to no difference.

I had a pro who was giving a seminar at Bass Pro tell me he always used lo vis green. I switched to that and feel it has helped me catch fish.

I use hi vis Trilene when fishing worms, jigs or grubs so I can see the line it doesn'tseem to hurt my fishing. I've been fishing Hi Vis since it came out a long time ago and I have fished clear water streams from NW Ontario down through the Mid south and it catches me fish. I don't use it on moving I usualy use green mono. I really think you should use the line that you are comfortable with. I've also used it for trout in trout areas caught fish there also.
