Now have 1 inch and it has stopped again. Glad it is slow, lite rain sinking in and not running off. Big Spring downtown has a nice flow again.

Like Wayne, I'm not gonna go out and check the guage. Nice, steady rain has been falling for probably a couple hours. Before that, off and on most of the day. Station pretty close to me is reporting 0.81 inches to www.wunderground.com

1.48 here at the moment. Nice, gentle rain -- the good kind -- still coming down. Sump's only kicking on every 10-15 minutes -- just about right I'd say. Our little creek down the road was looking nice and full a few hours back. I can't remember being this enthused about some rain!

We have 0.94 now and it looks like the eye is over Sedlia, Mo which is due west of us so I don't think it will turn and hit STL now as was predicted here. Time will tell if the meterologists missed it here again.
