rfd515 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Even if the pic is fake, considering there was one in Chesterfield last year, would one in Branson really be that surprising? I guess I don't see what would be so unbelievable.
Justin Spencer Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Even if the pic is fake, considering there was one in Chesterfield last year, would one in Branson really be that surprising? I guess I don't see what would be so unbelievable. I'm with you, nothing to gain from faking it, no one really cares anymore since there have been so many citings. Quillback Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I'm with you, nothing to gain from faking it, no one really cares anymore since there have been so many citings. Nobody's got anything to gain from faking bigfoot, but they do it. That image looks suspicious to me also.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I don't see the fake. I see nothing in the picture that is in focus, as is often the case with trail cameras. There's also the almost perfect flash intensity on the cat that would be hard to duplicate. I agree with Justin, what would be the point of faking it? It isn't exactly something unbelievable or even rare anymore. Again, few if any game management agencies are able to manage cougars, the US deer population has exploded, so you add little to no predation and lots of food and you get lots of cats. Add in the fact that male cats must find a territory of their own and you have a spreading population of cougars. This has been going on in the west for over a decade and the males are running out of room there. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Quillback Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 As I said before, there's no point in faking bigfoot, UFO's etc. There are practical jokers in this world. What is the white stuff? Reflection from the flash? Snow? Frost? Lint? Did MDC send someone out to check the location, to verify the location where the pic was taken? If not, that photo could have been taken anywhere. I'm not denying there's ML's in MO, but until given some reasonable proof, I'm not going to agee that the photo proves there's a ML wandering around Branson.
Flysmallie Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 You boneheads have lost your mind. MDC confirms it but that's just not good enough for ALL of those that are so much smarter. People fake Bigfoot and UFO sightings to get some attention. Nobody cares about a lion sighting anymore. How do you know that something hadn't been coming in their yard every night. Maybe they decided to setup a game cam just to see what it was. Arguing over a game cam shot? You guys are sinking to a new low. Â Â
Quillback Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Nobody cares about a ML sighting in MO - I guess the 3 pages here were written by "nobodies", including yourself. I'll see if I can find a pic of a UFO sighting over Branson.
Al Agnew Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Reverse psychology...if you were going to fake something like that, you probably wouldn't leave the yard light in.
Feathers and Fins Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Reverse psychology...if you were going to fake something like that, you probably wouldn't leave the yard light in. Unless your a sportsman trying to prove a point that HIGHLY DANGEROUS animals are Stocking our backyard where our kids may fall victim to the DEADLY PREDATORS and this is why MO would need an all out season. lol https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
