They like to fish, but have been a little hesitant to try the fly rod. I'm not going to force it on them, but will definitely make it very easy for them to get started if they have any sort of inclination whatsoever. Hmmmmm..... maybe if I played the movie "A River Runs Through It" every night as they sleep..... interesting. Murdoc Posted January 14, 2013 Author Share Posted January 14, 2013 We went back down this last Saturday and caught fish and she even unhooked a couple by herself!! She's a keeper!!! We built a fly rod together over Christmas for her and she got to break it in! Everyone that was down at the river would look at us as we walked by or walked up and just grin at us!! I've taken my oldest granddaughter to RR the last 2 summers for some beginning fly fishing and it's one of my most memorable trips ever.She's 7 and enjoyed it as long as we were catching fish; so as it slowed we quit and did the water slide.I don't do a very good job with my photography so I really enoyed your picture.
