podum Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Looks like Ill have the rare full day to myself on Sat. Feb. 2. I'm in the KC area and will be able to drive to where I choose to go the night before. I plan to fish sun up to sun down on Saturday. I have my own ideas about where to go, but want to open the floor to suggestions from the Board. If you had a full day to fly fish in MO, where would you choose to spend it? I wish I had more time more than I wish I had more money.
Feathers and Fins Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Roaring river from horn till 10am then drive over to Taney and have at it till dark followed by a even shot on Powersite. Think multiple spots why limit yourself with so much beautiful waters. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
BilletHead Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Most likely I would fish with our own OA member Duckydoty anywhere:) BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo   If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh   " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh      "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" fishinwrench Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Considering your location, travel time, and what the extended forcast looks like....I'd do Thomas Hill for hybrids.

ness Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 What's your preference? Trout? Lotsa fish, a few bigguns, a day in the wild, what? You gonna wade, take a canoe, rent a boat? All kinda options. Happy to help if you tell us a leele more about what you're looking for John
duckydoty Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 The 2nd of Feb might be a good time to run up Swan Creek or Beaver Creek and spend some time catching 4-5 inch creek chubs on the fly rod. Put them in a bucket of ice water with a bubbler, then head on over to Barkers Hole and try to play with some walleyes. Thats what I hope to be doing over the next 4 or 5 weeks. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Members WayneB Posted January 20, 2013 Members Posted January 20, 2013 Below Table Rock dam down to Lilley's Landing. That will be a whole day there of beautiful water and Rainbows and Browns and a sore arm and shoulder but it's worth it.
