Josh Holt Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I think it was a great day with another day of over a 100 fish we caught had our limits between two boats and four people by 10 oclock then just caught them and threw them back till 4 today. We caught them from 630 this morning till 4 this afternoon nonstop.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Does anyone ever tip their jigs with crappie nibbles or is it just a trick to make us spend more money
Josh Holt Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Its just a trick to make you spend more money i think i never use it or live bait
duckydoty Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 You are absolutely tearing them up! Awesome. I was woking out at Indian Point today and the lake was beautiful. Wanted to be out there bad today. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Members lildave Posted February 7, 2013 Members Posted February 7, 2013 I never used to fish with crappie nibbles, but a buddy convinced me last year after boating 3 fish to my 1 on a trip to Truman. They're messy, but I'm a believer now...
Hunter91 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Congrats on the nice mess of crappie!! As far as crappie niblets go, I am a true believer after many trips fishing against my partner who used them. It seems to me they are more effective earlier in the year than later in the summer when we do almost as good without them.
Riverwhy Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Crappie nibbles are effective. I wish I could say that they are useless like all those spray on scents are but nibbles are the real deal.
abkeenan Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 You guys use the nibblets by tipping them on a minnow under a float/bobber? Or do you put them on a moving plastic bait like when using a slider or swimming minnow on a jig head?
