From the looks of it, ole Crowbar knows where the big ones are around Hardy! Like to know what the one on the left measured.

Nice fish but it doesn't look like old crowbar released them.

Yeah, looks like your right about that Mitch. He lives on the banks of the Southfork, family has a farm there, figure that where he caught them.

beautiful fish both of them, but a shame he didn't release them or I am guessing he didn't.

I know somebody will chime in and say it's legal for him to keep them and so on, but I sure wish everybody would realize the value of such fish in the stream instead of in the skillet. It ain't like there's a million of them that size out there in the South Fork.

How many seasons did it take for that fish to grow to that size? 10-12 years? Five minute in oil, ten minutes on a plate then gone.

This guy has been keeping big stream smallies for years, he's not the only one with this self imposed "god" given right to kill whatever they please whenever they feel like it. Its a tradition for poor locals to feast on the easy to target stream smallies, but dung man, get some food stamps, go to wal mart, load up on cheap groceries, kill the dung out of some deer, go trout fishing, trade one of your many guns or children for a pig that you can fatten up and eat in the winter. Hell eat the river otters this redneck and others in the area are trying to eradicate. There are a lot of ways to find some calories, but I suppose one of the easiest is to keep big beautiful stream smallmouth and turn em into turds and have a feeling of pride that this world and everything in it was put here for you.

Could be wrong but this has live bait written all over it! Hope Paul Dallas doesn't find out about this or there will be hell to pay

Crowbar looks like a true Razorback hawg.......looser was fishing with bait and the only legend that dude is in his mind. I must admit I agree with Mitch after clicking on the link on the story about Crowbar and the rode hard and put away wet gal, I was thinking this has Paul Dallas written all over it. Crowbar looks like he may have a few chromosomal disorders, so I don't blame him too much.....I just feel bad for the fisherman down there that cherish nice smallies........I guess Arkansas has no season on Smallmouth???

Well, there was a link at the bottom of the article if you want to email Wanda and let her know how you feel.
