Ness thanks for the link on the sun golds. I will try them next season. The bed sides are some of the composite decking. Our Sutherlands had a bunch on clearance a couple of years back. Two sections tall with caulk between. Used some metal cross arm braces to keep them stable and staked down.

I came home today and had a half dozen Sun Golds -- they didn't even make it to the house. I'm liking these things. Maybe 3 plants isn't too much.

Looks like those synthetic boards are pretty rigid. Look good too.

Got my first tomatoes yesterday - 2 cherries - some of the bigger varieties look like they may be starting to ripen. On the bright side, lots of cukes.

shot one of the groundhogs the other night. stuck him right behind the shoulder with my bow from on top of my deck, about 55 feet away. 2 left.

You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.

A BIG DAMMMMNNNN....To you Bilethead...I fight for that, and had it at one time, but if I leave the homestead to work it goes to crap..Much respect to you for having the organization and know how to Really get it done...are you looking for a balding wife??? LOL :XD:

Had a bald wife at one time after her chemo. Then her hair grew back with the most beautiful streak of gray. I like, no I love it and her. Besides I am too old and spoiled to train another. :)
