Thanks for sharing that.

I've become more and more jaded towards the media over the years for the very reasons he's talking about. Not the 'media bias' -- the quality. The blurred line between reporting and opinion. The constant filler with 'experts' speculating about the things that are unknown in a story or what the future holds. Some of it's just laughable. Last week our venerable Kansas City Star ran an article on their website and used the word 'busted' when describing someone kicking in a door. Our local Channel 5 had a story in their entertainment feed with an f-bomb in it a while back.

The Media seems to have forgotten their job is report the news not fuel the gossip. Guy nailed that part. I find the lack of coverage very Bias, Hardly hear anything on Fast and Furious heck I learned about it on the internet forums, Begoofedup where is the in depth reporting and digging for the truth to many things seem to me to be swept under the rug or if its not in the democrats interest not reported or even worse opinionated to influance people about the what the Media Opinion should be. I find it hard to beleive anything reported as fact anymore.

breitbart.com does a story on shoddy journalism...do I really have to point out the irony there?

Geez Eric, never pegged you as a Drew or Chief, don't shoot the messenger, this guy is a CBS anchor, definitely not a fringe guy politically

To me the scary part is the publics appetite for screamfests on the editorial talk show segments. Obviously there is a market for this type of bad behavior. Makes you wonder about the important news they have to leave out to make room for the blood sport.

The local media news are pretty good it seems most of the problems go to the National News Services. I really think its more about being #1 to get headlines then it is about accuracy and truth. They are not held accountable. But now with the IRS, BENGAZI, and the AP wire taps or whatever it really is, WILL things change? Seems a lot of crow being eaten in as much as more and more people are now wondering is the National News covering up and even protecting the current administration? Heard a LOT of talk about it on the net the last few days from all kinds of different places and from ( people) of all different affiliations and walks of life.
