snap Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 ....great news there smallie!!!...keep us informed please!!!
MOsmallies Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 I heard back this morning from Paul Cieslewicz (Fisheries Management Biologist of the Smallmouth Tagging Study) and he said he was very grateful for the information and pictures and he had already passed it on to several agents. If anything, we have made a lot of people aware. Let's just hope they're able to follow up on this.
exiledguide Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I apologize to the MDC for my negative opinions. Mea culpa when I am wrong I am wrong and in this case I am glad to be wrong.......
Members Tearin Up Topwater Posted July 5, 2013 Members Posted July 5, 2013 Good job guys! I'm glad there's really good people and authorities fighting for our native fish. Let's all protect our waters.
blue79 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Whats his name?Did anyone look him up on case.net? He might have been busted before.
LarrySTL Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Way to go Scott, and everybody else who helped !! I may have a longer range thought too, but I need to play with it in my head for a bit. http://intervenehere.com
Mitch f Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Scott has been a zealot for smallmouth since I met him, thanks to him and Paul for bringing this to light. There are others as well who are working hard behind the scenes to get some of these poachers caught and punished. Makes me happy! "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
hoglaw Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Mdc are the wrong people to talk to. Talk to the local prosecutor. He/she can have mdc "investigate". That's something they don't normally do. The prosecutor is the proper ear to bend.
