Members Tearin Up Topwater Posted July 25, 2013 Members Posted July 25, 2013 What really bothers me is when I see a old worm container left on the bank. 1) poor worms, to die such a horrible death smothering and melting in the heat of the sun. 2) The littering was done by a "fisherman" - any real sportsman should know better. 3) Styrofoam is the worst trash - it will be there forever unless someone like myself pick it up. Good going, guys. The only good thing is that it tells me where the over-fished spots are.
Members Tearin Up Topwater Posted July 25, 2013 Members Posted July 25, 2013 Nice Avatar, Smalliebigs. And have you guys ever wondered what Party Cove looks like at the bottom? I guess that's why you always see that huge dredge-boat on The Lake. Disgusting.
ness Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 John: I wonder if you ever considered walking up to the man and saying something like, 'I hear what you're saying, and I don't like the trash anymore than you. I've got a bag of trash out in the car that I picked up today.'? I guess, in my humble opinion, your good deed is sorta offset by your shouting at that guy and coming on here to brag about it. Last shouting match we talked about on here ended up with somebody dead. John
exiledguide Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Sorry old plug I'm 71 and I don't see what john did wrong ......... you think someone can mouth off and the other guy is just supposed to stand there................
ScottK Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Sorry old plug I'm 71 and I don't see what john did wrong ......... you think someone can mouth off and the other guy is just supposed to stand there................ I completely agree. The guy made an ASSumption and acted like a jerk, and he got called on it.
Old plug Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 From Johns post it looked like he was being threatening he did use the term verbal woopin and said it was a good thing he was a old coot are he might have been in jail . That seemed threatening to me. That was my only objection. Calling someone is one thing threatening like is sounded to me is something else. Had the guy felt threatened by a younger it might have ended in another way. I am not interested in it anymore john made another post I read it and its fine with me. So that is the end of it.

Members Rainbow McCloud Posted July 26, 2013 Members Posted July 26, 2013 Wow! You really shouted at an old man? You do know some times old people don't always filter what they say or talk real loud?
Terrierman Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Good thing it wasn't my mom or the verbal whoopin would have gone the other way.
