Jerry Rapp Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Zipstick, Mr. Nick, took me out on the river on my birthday(late Feb), several years ago. I was amazed. Best river fishing I have ever seen. He started off with a 5lb largemouth. Then followed up with several nice (3 to 4+) smallies. I finally caught a good smalile, one of the biggest that I have caught, close in size to the one in my avatar, probably bigger. But Zip is the master. I have had several chances to go back with others who owned jets in the winter months, but never have. I respect his water and just appreciate the opportunity to have witnessed what he did that day. By the way, I almost always kicked his hiney In bass tournaments in lakes..... maybe. Nick is one of the best.
Hog Wally Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Okay so if I posted something and it disappears does that mean it made someone mad? Cause I ain't typing all that in again
Old plug Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 who knows Hog Wally or you using WIFI. It is a nightmare around here. i and a few neighbors are having a awful time with it Nobody has been able to explain it to us other than saying it is something out in the area.
Hog Wally Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 Dang the crankbait bite is on. My brother caught a 20" plus. Between us several 16" and over and a nice spotted bass.
Hog Wally Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 Upstream from it. I never actually fish within a mile of the bridge. 52 degree water today. Took the family out for a after church run and my brother showed up with his crew and we talked while he was taking a couple casts and was killing em I ran up couple miles and it was the same thing. They were killing crankbaits. Big bass. No walleye or whites though
