Well Bull Shark gets voted #1 deadliest shark. Apparently their bite is much stronger than a great white in size comparison. Also, once a Great White determines you're too boney, they won't come back for seconds, (doesn't matter unless you survive the first tasting). But a bull shark will continue eating no matter what!!! Scary.

Something else I found interesting is the attacks on the jersey shore that spawned the movie Jaws were not only on the beach but also inland freshwater rivers which can only be a bull shark because they can thrive in salt or fresh water. Ths movie wouldn't have been as scary with a 8 ft bull shark though!

Bull Sharks are the ones that scare me because they CAN thrive in freshwater!

All I know is after last nights Joke of a show I think I will be watching NatGeos shark week as Discovery Channel has gone the route of Scifi Channel. What a disappointment.

Yeah that was stupid. Especially the after show.

I used to love shark week many years ago. i gave it another shot last night and then I quickly realized why I stopped paying attention to it 5 or so years ago.

I wish they would take a few episodes and focus on certain shark species that are rarely, or if ever, discussed. Great Whites, Bull Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Shark Attacks, Shark survivors, breaching whites...and on and on and on...same old topics recycled, regurgitated and glossed over with Ripley Scottesque production...all in the name of fear and shock value. That is just my .02 cents...Your mileage my vary.

that episode last night was attrocious

In general it's become pretty phony and disappointing. Thought maybe they would turn it around a little, but instead this stupid "comedy" show every night just reinforces how phony it got, especially with the stupid guest appearances of people who either don't factor in this in any way (Mark Cuban, wtf does he have anything to do with sharkweek) or who also conveniently star in their new lineups of utterly shark-unrelated shows. Couldn't just leave it at the commercials for them, could they. Sellouts.
