Quillback Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I wish I had not seen this. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Megabass_Ito_Shiner/descpage-MBISN.html
Riverwhy Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I recently took my Megabass Vision 110 lures to Ontario and found they are deadly on large northern pike. They are way too expensive but no doubt they work extremely well. I will need to save up a bit and try the new model. Thanks for the heads up.
bluebasser86 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Looks like it will be a bit more of a slashbait with more side to side movement than the 110? Good looking bait.
Members Jozark Posted August 14, 2013 Members Posted August 14, 2013 Well like most Megabass baits I am sure it is going to catch fish. I am having hard time wondering how this was a secret bait for Ito (owner of megabass) then why would he be selling it to the general public. Does anyone know if this bait is going to be a limited production model? I would love to know if anyone has fish the Magnum 110 version on Table Rock with any success?
powerdive Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Will you bassers please stop buying these overpriced baits? This bad habit of yours is driving all lure prices through the roof.
Alex Heitman Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 The table rock sp color looks like a new color. Is this an old color and if so has anyone tried it. Looks killer.
mjk86 Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Yeesh!! 26$ for a crankbait?? Ive never fished megabass baits (not a poor mans bait)...but are they really that much better than an X-rap for 1/4 the price? Im sure it works great...it sure looks awesome...but I would be so afraid to lose it that it would just look pretty in my tackle box! That being said....eventually ill buy one...dig it deep into a stump and jump in after it. ha!
abkeenan Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I've finally started my 12 step program to rid myself of hoarding jerk baits and to STOP buying anymore jerkbaits and just stick to my ole' faithful....the SPRO McStick 110. Will the megabass outfish it at times? Sure. Will a rogue outfish the megabass at times? Sure. It all evens out in the end IMO and I am just going to stick to my go to and save the $ for gas. For $11.49 or whatever the cost of the McSticks are I find them to be the most well made, true running out of the pack with nice gammy hooks and with a good color selection when compared to cost of other brands.
