The comments were almost as funny as the video. Does go to show that they aren't something to mess with even when beheaded.

I wouldn't kill it just because it was a copperhead or any other venomus snake for that matter unless it was a treat to myself or family.

Every time I kill one at the farm, I consider it a "treat" to my family.

Nice looking snake, to bad it was killed I will never understand why people have to kill a snake yet they allow feral dogs and cats to live the cats and dogs do far more damage than the snakes.

Killed one at my Front Door one time, I was getting it to throw in the brush. Looked and there was one getting ready to strike ????? said to myself I know I cut your Head off. Got to looking it was a pair hung together at my Door.Had many Copperheads and Rattlers in and around my house. Got in my Pickup one time had a six foot Rattler in it. Not fun.And yes I killed all of them.

A coworker showed me a video of one he decap'd, of the body in a hall-full barn trash can. When someone drew near, the body would coil, lunge, and strike in the right direction. Spooky. The head was still out where it landed.

Yep, that's the weird part, I can see the head biting reflex but the body "flinching" to the bite without a head is what I'm not understanding

I had my reservations till I saw his video. Not much spooks me (often to my detriment), but I was disturbed just watching that phone video. I don't have any desire to watch it again.
