Were are you located...I have an old Evinrude Lightwin 3hp folding motor that I'd part with...Put a new magneto and rebuilt the carb...ten years ago...havent run it since.

Folding Motor? Heck now I want it and I don't even need one.

Those are cool. Local dealer has one in it's original wooden Elto treasure box.

I have an old 1967 3hp, and a 195? Weedless 4hp, and a 1972 6hp. None of which I personally would want on a canoe....but that's just me.

I'd either go with a 12v TM or snatch up that old folder from Gavin.

None of those old "little" motors ever really got used much so an old one is as good as a new one if you just refresh the hoses and stuff. Plus, the old ones are built SO much better than the new ones.

I have a Mercury 2.2 that ran great the last time I used it 10 years ago. It has a Macks Troling motor saver on it. Located in Holiday Island Ark.

Don't forget, you put a motor on a canoe and both it and the motor need a Missouri registration. Failure to lic and reg them will be very costly.

Here you go...picked it up 10-12 years ago...had it serviced....haven't touched it since.
