Quillback Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 When a Gunfish somehow magically unties itself from your line a split second after you begin your cast. Gunfish flies about 75 yards away (fortunately they float) and I ended up with this.
Champ188 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 LMBFAO (Laffin my big fat a** off) at that one, only because it has happened to me, too. As Larry the Cable Guy would say, that's funny I don't care who you are. Sorry bout the spool of line, QB, but thanks for the much needed laugh!
Duck Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Quill, I don't think you are the only one has happened to. Chin up, dig it out and keep fishin, Duck.
Members Grubber Posted October 8, 2013 Members Posted October 8, 2013 That's the way all my reels look, so what's the problem........ Mike Colvin
mixermarkb Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Yup, me too Quill. Had it happen last with a wiggle wart and a brand new spool of Trilene Flouro last winter. Gotta just laugh at it sometimes-
Feathers and Fins Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 LMAO I feel your pain https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Members NebSchmidty Posted October 9, 2013 Members Posted October 9, 2013 It has to be the rod you are using that caused this snafu. I'm willing to take it off your hands so that you never repeat this unfortunate incident. 704 or 705 cb? Kindly let me know where I can send the prepaid rod shipping tube to absolve you of any future fishing pain and suffering.
Members timr0123 Posted October 9, 2013 Members Posted October 9, 2013 LOL!!!! That's exactly what my reels looks like every time the wife happens to sneak one off my deck!!!!! She can't understand why I always hand her a spinning reel. It's a good thing she's pretty!!!!!!
