Jerry Rapp Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I have seen several this fall. A couple on the drive way, a couple on the greens at the golf course, and crawling around the jon boat while fishing. Black on each tip, full brown in the middle. Based on these scientific observations, which are correct more times than not(that would make me a famous weather forecaster), we will have a cold start to the fall/winter season, which we are, a mild mid winter, and a cold late winter, early spring. You are welcome.
fishinwrench Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I'm welcome?! Was that supposed to be GOOD news? Piss on you, I hate Winter
moguy1973 Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Kill off the Mosquitos and bugs, December and January fishing, fill up the streams. Sounds good to me. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Guest Brian B. Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 I'm welcome?! Was that supposed to be GOOD news? Piss on you, I hate Winter Blah ha ha ha!!!! That's awesome! And Jerry I'm agreeing- I think Mr. Wooly is probably correct for this year.
bfishn Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Kill off the Mosquitos and bugs... I'm curious... if cold killed off all the bugs, why are there still bugs? I can't dance like I used to.
Guest Brian B. Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Amd why are the bugs in Canada and. Alaska so darned bad? LOL- I always chuckle when I hear the kill the bugs off deal..
moguy1973 Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 I'm curious... if cold killed off all the bugs, why are there still bugs? Well, it will kill off this year's bugs. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
fishinwrench Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 Yeah, cold doesn't kill off the bugs that we want gone. They love us, and a long cold spell just temporarily seperates us and makes them miss us that much more.
Jerry Rapp Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 excellent replies. I will keep you posted on future sightings. And maybe a photo, but probably not. And Wrench, you should move to the Florida Keys. LOL!
