O A F Winter White River Trip 2013

Riley's would be fine with me. I've never stayed there, but a good deal is a good deal. If we have one or two guys with 9.9's, then maybe we can do some wart and jerkbait fishing in the buffalo. They'll send me to jail if I try to run it.

I figure we bump this thread a few more times and hopefully get some more eyes on it, and then we do a roll call a week or two out? How much notice do you think you need to get the place booked? That's not just a super busy time of year for them I don't think.

I don't have my December schedule yet. I'm local so that part is easy. I know I work the weekend of the 7th and 8th.

I talked to michelle just now and she said she could get us a good deal on renting the lodge, it has 8 separate beds. I may bring my camper so my wife and son can stay there with us. we just need to know how many people and what weekend.

That earlier part of December might be better for me, wife and kids are out of school in the middle of the month, we been talking about going to Branson around then. Nothing set in stone yet! I know I want to do this if any way possible!!

I'm interested. Muddy, I've got a 6 HP Johnson that would push your boat if needed. And the canoe. Last time I took a chance and went fishing with a bunch of strangers from OAF it was an absolute blast. Plus I learned a LOT.

Personally I can do Friday the 13th, not the 14th. I can do the weekend of the 6-7th. I can bring a jon boat with a 25 hp motor to use.

Ham, any prayer of you getting off on the weekend of the 7th? If it means LR and Phil can come, that's definitely a plus. Is your work schedule such that you couldn't meet us at all?

I caertainly understand if the 7th is better for the group as a whole. Do what's best for the majority. I can't change my work, but I might be able to come by for a visit. I'm not sure what my shift will be that day.

There will be an embarrassment of riches in regards to boats it sounds like. I'll keep my eye on the thread. I've got lots of firewood if you guys end up needing any.
