Terrierman Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Forecast for next Saturday (yeah it's a long way out and subject to change) is calling for 40 degrees and some rain/snow mix. Sounds fishable to me. Good excuse to get out the Gore-Tex.

That's what i'm talking about, knew I liked you for a reason!! It's just now starting to ice a little here, got my generator tuned and ready, hopefully that will run off the ice!! Clay county basically got nearly all new poles in 09, hopefully we have a much stronger power grid now! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
gotmuddy Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 we got all new poles in 2009. the little honda is all gassed up and if it gets bad we will stay in the camper. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Ham Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Launching and loading a boat are not without risk when temps are this low. Walk in and wade might be safer, but certainly not without risk either. Looking forward to warmer weather and productive fishing. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

That is for sure, if the weather forcast holds, I think we will be alright, may have some nice backdrop for fish pics with snow still on the riverside!! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

I have done tons of sub freezing launches, the secret is pulling the trailer back out of the water slowly. I used to fish a nuclear power plant cooling lake where water would be in the 60s in the dead of winter. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
