Quillback Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Wouldn't you know, I just accidentally busted off the connector on my cell phone charger. It's about 2/3 charged, but I'm going to turn it off until I get there.
LittleRedFisherman Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Hey was wanting to you all of your thoughts on me bringing my boat, i'm going to have to leave really early, and heard there may be a few ice patches still on the road from Hardy to Mt. Home. I think Muddy is bringing his boat to, so if you think we can get by without mine, might leave it, I could make better time getting there tomorrow morning early? I like Phils idea of least boat = more fellowship. Let me know some of you think, I can bring it, but we may not need it. It's a little farther than I thought, 160miles on google, never seemed that far to me, but that was to Buffalo city. Think i'm gonna meet Muddy in Mt. Home tomorrow morning, that way I won't have to go to rileys to drop off fish cooker yet, it like a 40 mile drive to white hole according to google, I can leave it where Muddy is staying then pick it up after we done fishing, it would be to easy to steal, about 400 bucks worth!! If you think we may need it to travel or anything I can bring it, 25jet with a trolling motor... Just let me know. There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
LittleRedFisherman Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Muddys BOat Id Iced In, so Gonna Go Ahead And Bring mine There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
Ham Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 For those that might want/ need it, my cell number is 870-736-3130.. It looks like we'll have good water all day. It also looks like weather is gonna be tough. I plan on having a heater on board. We'll keep it As far away from the gas tank as possible. I had planned on a lower river trip which would help get that brisket on at _____PM and maybe pickup Quillback. It was been a while since I fished that far up river, but we can do whatever, i don't think we're going to find a crowded river. I would have guessed we would have planned on a eating a little earlier since it gets dark at 5 PM, but whatever. I might be looking at it wrong, but I thought we would only need two boats. Hoglaw's and mine ; my preference is to have a total of three in my boat, but I don't want anyone to get left out. I'm pretty darn excited abouth meeting errrbody, but not as thrilled with the weather. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
hoglaw Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 They cut the generation back a bunch tomorrow. Maybe three units at peak. Are we still meeting at cotter tomorrow morning?
Terrierman Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 It's always about shaving peak demand (cold in winter or hot in summer) or needing to get rid of water. Temps are moderating and so will generation.
hoglaw Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 So as I understand it, the plan is for me to meet Phil at cotter tomorrow at 7. That's what I'm going with. I'd be up for fishing down-river too. I was just excited about the prospect of the upper river on high water. Again, I'm 479 957 8tree28 if anyone wants to touch base in the morning. I'll be leaving Fayetteville around 430
gotmuddy Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 we can eat earlier, that is fine with me. I just need to put the brisket on 5 hours before we plan on eating. what time we meeting at the ramp? everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Ham Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I should awake by 0530 or so. I need to get my daughter going in the AM. I think I'll have that under control by 0745 or so. The boat will be hooked up and ready to go I should be able to get to most any ramp by 0830-0845 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Ham Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 My preference would be to fish Rim Shoals down to Buffalo City and shuttle back up to get my truck leaving the boat at Riley's . Is that Ok Got Muddy and LRF? Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
