gotmuddy Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I am certain Miles will let us use a spare spider seat. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 14, 2013 Root Admin Posted November 14, 2013 We will be staying at Riley's Station. Can I get a head count so I can call Michelle and let her know. Boats shouldnt be a problem, they rent boats cheaper than anyone on the river. So you've made reservations? Do we have enough bedrooms, beds? I think we have enough food and boats. What is the room rate?
gotmuddy Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Once we get a headcount I can talk to michelle about prices, reservations are not a problem. We will have plenty of room. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Quillback Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 I'll sign up for bringing the tub of cole slaw. I'm not a big breakfast eater either, but I have to have something. I can bring some boxes of those Hostess jelly doughnuts. Gotta have coffee also - do the cabins have coffee makers? Also would be willing to bring plastic cutlery, dishes, and cups.
Ham Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I'd like to fish out of a 48 inch hull to compare it to my 42 inch, BUT that doesn't to happen this trip. I think we're gonna have plenty of boat space to not fish 4 in a boat and maybe not everybody has to bring their boat. We can fine tune things a week or two out. I'd hate for someone to trailer a boat for hours when it isn't necessary. Of course, if I had the 48 inch hull I'd most likely step up to a 40 HP jet. LONG range planning though. I hope my current river boat last a LONG, LONG, time. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 15, 2013 Root Admin Posted November 15, 2013 Looking forward to it!
gotmuddy Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Ham, Rileys has a 48" JS...its really nice. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
gotmuddy Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I just got off the phone with the Riley's and I think I have accommodations for everyone. Here is the cabin we have booked: http://www.rileysstation.com/Cabins/RiverVilla.aspx She said it should be able to fit everyone fine, if needed I can bring my camper up, it sleeps 5. The cost for the weekend is $350 so it should be plenty cheap. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Quillback Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I was just checking out that River Villa - looks like it has a strict no pets policy. I have to bring my dog. Does anyone want to split the Bunk Lodge with me, it looks to be $115/night. 2 separate suites. http://www.rileysstation.com/Cabins/BunkLodge.aspx
