Terrierman Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 If the weather is not absolutely brutal, I'm in for driving down Saturday morning and staying over.
Al Agnew Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Hey guys, I'm thinking about coming down...would have been better the weekend before since my wife is going to be in West Plains with friends that weekend and I could have driven her down and dropped her off, but oh well. Is there still room in the main cabin? Do I need to bring a boat? Anybody up for a float on the Buffalo one day instead of trout? Don't know for sure whether I'm coming yet, but hoping to.
gotmuddy Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 al there is plenty of room. You shouldnt need to bring a boat. I would love to go up the buffalo, as long as there is some water. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

Cody, it's looking more like I may be able to make this a two day event as well. Al if I do, I may bring my Kayak, a chance to float the Buffalo might be something I couldn't let pass!! Thinking I could strap it down in my Riverboat and bring both! Long as I got room for the fish cooker!! There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!
gotmuddy Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 you will be completely alone in that yak. I aint getting out of a riverboat. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Ham Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 IF I'm in a yak this time of year, it's much more likely to be on Norfork than it is on the Buffalo. It won't hurt my feelings if the temps moderate a little bit. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Al Agnew Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Yeah, a lot depends upon the weather. I wouldn't float if it's going to be below freezing much of the day, but if it looks like it would get a little warmer and stay dry I'd maybe want to float Buffalo Point to Rush, or maybe Crooked Creek. If anybody is up for that and wants to share a canoe I'll bring a tandem, otherwise probably throw a solo on, and if the floating possibilities don't look good I'll just fish from somebody's boat. If I come, I'll probably get there later in the morning Friday and leave early afternoon Sunday.
