ness Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Initial reports say there was a strong odor of marijuana, they found a black bag with Bowe's wallet and some pot inside. Today, Bowe's attorney announces he's 100% innocent. Gotta love it. I have always thought Bowe is a knucklehead. Just not dependable; never seems to be putting in 100%; immature. John
Quillback Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 he's not a knucklehead, at least when it comes to signing a contract. Pretty good deal for a guy that is now basically a decoy receiver. Bowe, Kansas City’s first-round draft pick in 2007 out of LSU, signed a five-year, $56-million contract with $26 million guaranteed in March 2013. The contract contains a $15 million signing bonus and the guarantee of Bowe’s 2013 and ’14 base salaries.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 With that kind of money you would think he could pay someone to carry his stash? Quillback he probably had no more to do with that then signing when someone told him he couldn't get anymore than that. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Hopefully he'll live within his means, seems it should be easy to do, but it's amazing how many of these guys are clueless when it comes to money management.
exiledguide Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 These guys are millionaires and they can't hire a ride? When I went out for an evening on the landing with my wife and friends we would take a cab or hire a limo for the night.
ness Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Ask Quill -- he's the one that thinks Bowe is a freakin genious You do have a good point though. John
Jerry Rapp Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 back to topic, though I agree that a lot of these "college athlete's" have no clue, it doesn't matter who wins. They will both make the playoffs, and whoever is the healthiest and playing good will advance in the playoffs. But, I will say this, the Lambs will not be in the playoffs this year.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 But, I will say this, the Lambs will not be in the playoffs this year. I think everyone thought that at the start, but come to think of it they thought the same thing about the Chiefs! Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
ozark trout fisher Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 But, I will say this, the Lambs will not be in the playoffs this year. Probably not, but they sure looked good against Indy. Maybe be able to get to 8-8 which wouldn't be half bad given how they started. NFC west is scary. Seattle may be the best team in the league and both San Fran and Arizona look like playoff caliber teams. Rams never had much of a chance.....a division can't send four team to the playoffs.

HAHA, I don't recall using the word "genius". That's always a thought that has occurred to me, if you're swimming in money and plan to go out on the town and drink/toke - hire a freaking limo.
