Last one for consideration.

Same river.

Last three caught same day.

Last batch looked like 100% smallmouth...look at the pelvic fins on that hybrid you caught...Kinda light in color aren't they? Another sign of a hybrid.

Hk's hu? Ouch! I haven't even taken my girlfriend there. This is gonna cause some serious problems :(

I'm still hung up on the dimple thing. Every obvious hybrid I have ever caught failed to have those smallie dimples. Maybe some of the "smallies" I catch are mutts. Quite possible.

However...it could be that Chief is trying to trick us. If the fish was caught in the Ozarks, what I just said above is true. But if it was caught in the Southeast, it could very well be a shoal bass. They can have a very similar coloration and pattern, especially the rows of spots along the lower sides.

I think Al is right i think the injun is playing with the sunlight.

No tricks. Mitch can attest to that.

I was just going to post the first pic. But as I looked at others from the same stream, I thought it became important to add them as well.

I'm absolutely postive and no one can really argue with the fact that they weren't caught in the past 5 days.

Other than that I'm not sure about the first one, the rest are just Smallies.

Here they are on same post.

Maybe it is a hybrid. I have seen some what i thought were largemouth Kentucky hybrids.
