I didn't know where to put these pictures on the forum, but I had to show them. I had a couple Eagles show up for breakfast Sunday morning. We were dining on frozen possum. I thought it was pretty cool. WOW

I really think Ben Franklin may have been correct. The Turkey should be our national bird. I saw an eagle eating road kill not too long ago. Scavengers at best.

you know wrench that have taken a few small dogs in this area in the past couple of years. Lady next doors bother in law had his little dog picked up and the eagle dropped him right away for some reason. I seen the talon holes after the vet had sewed him up. They were about 3/4 in long and deep and hooked. I seen one with a small dog one time up high when the ice covered the lake. Dog was still alive and he dropped it and followed it down to the ice. I think they kill a lot by dropping it.

Probably wouldn't get to hunt them then, bet they taste better than eagles. Many Americans are turkeys though, so it would fit.
