Sore Thumbs Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 This forum is meant to help people. Not to be disrespectful, demeaning and argumentative. There are people in here that know more about fishing than I will ever possibly know. I appreciate any input I can get. These negative comments and know it all attitudes are gonna ruin it for everyone. There is a way to disagree with someone without being a D-bag. Let's keep it civil and help each other. We all can learn something if we work together. Merry Christmas Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
Quillback Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Yep, I learn a lot from the folks here. And I'll learn some more as time goes on. That's part of the fun of fishing, doing something different and being rewarded by catching a fish. I'm even thinking of doing a little fly-fishing for bass this year. I think it would be fun to work the edges of the buck brush with a streamer.
Pepe Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Not one mention of a Ned Rig or small Senko's?
Quillback Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Not one mention of a Ned Rig or small Senko I haven't done any ned fishing myself yet, but one of these days I'll try it. A few weeks ago I picked up some fish on a 5" Slim Senko on TR, but I was T-rigging it. I like throwing a weightless wacky rigged Senko when the fish are spawning.
abkeenan Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Agree with everything Champ said. If you stop learning and refuse the new then you are missing out. I've gotten so much help here that it is invaluable to me. I would never have tried certain baits, techniques or even know where to start on somethings. Probably would never have heard of the Ned Rig, have any clue as to how to troll a night crawler harness or have any sense as to what to try at any given time in the year when I make my way down to TR. Great site. Great people. I am Grateful.
