24/7, I've always heard the cold, cloudy, windy days are the best, but I'm too much of a wuss to fish in that stuff. If I have to chip ice out of my line guides, I'm not going fishing.

Nice fish QB. That was a toad in the rod pic huh ?

Yes sir, it's getting to be that time of year, the fishing is tough but chances improve for getting a big fish.

You've put your time in and earned your catch, QB. Because of your dedication, I truly believe you'll stick a monster soon.

Of course, it'll probably be caught trying to eat the one that's struggling on the end of your line... :D

HAHA, that's always a possibility, at least based on some of the stories I've heard. I have lost salmon to sealions and seals, but have yet to have a big bass grab a smaller one.

use spinning gear, there's a good reason why all the ICE fishermen use it :)

I've got COPD and freezing cold air is hard on me..but I still go, mind over matter !

That reminds me of that quote hat is attributed to Satchel Paige. "MInd over matter - if you don't mind, it don't matter."

LOZ is a much murkier and muddy water than TR. The bass at LOZ don't get the sunlight penetration to give them color like the bass at TR do with the clearer water. I THINK that is how it works.
