Had a chance to take my best friend, whom has been my best friend since kindergarten, smallmouth fishing the other day. We went to a spot in Arkansas, that his dad showed the two of us about 10 years ago. Then, we were in search for Winter Walleye, but we caught smallmouth that day, so guess my Internal GPS still worked, as we found the place we hadn't been to in a decade, and caught a few fish. Bruce and I have hardly ever had a cross word in our 31 years of friendship. One thing we always did when we could be together was fish or hunt. He has served our country in the Armed Forces since he got his college degree in Civil Engineering....yes he helped me with my homework at times...:) We've done everything from catch trout, bass, flathead on the St. Francis, and Mississippi Rivers. Hunted Rabbitts when we had 7 dogs, killed squrieels, coyotes, and boy did we have some big dove hunts on the farm back in the day! We loved to fish the Mayo Ditch that runs on the farm here, it was full of little bass and some nice bream! It was good to get on the water with him again, it was just like old times, we are older now, and have familys, but once we were on the water, it was just like it was 20 years ago! Nothing like the bond of friendship, while on the water!

There's no such thing, as a bad day fishing!

Awesome. Fishing buddies all have an expiration date. Use allotment wisely before expiration for best results..

I can't dance like I used to.
