Mark Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I feel the same as many of you do on many of the issues with protecting our ONSR. I just completed sending in my comments. It is very easy to do and let's keep up the campaign to encourage others. But I am afraid it will all be for naught, as others have stated, our legislators and overseers of the ONSR will never have the guts to do the right thing. Our only hope is to get enough people onboard with a campaign to make our voices heard. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO EVERYONE WHO USES THE ONSR TO SEND COMMENTS NOW.

Sell licenses to vendors who then can build restaurants, sell liquor, rent jet skis, sponsor fishing tournaments and wet t-shirt contests? It'd be like Lake of the Ozarks, but without the poop. Why not have a venue for Grateful Dead and Elvis impersonators? Where do we send our comments? John
ColdWaterFshr Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I heard from a reliable source that the numerous Horse Club groups that frequent the ONSR are all up in arms over these proposals. It is rumored that they are going to have a mass-showing at the Powder Valley meeting next week, even going as far as hauling their horse trailers to the meeting in an attempt to crowd out the limited parking spaces for regular folk wanting their voice to be heard. Not kidding.

Not to worry, the "regular folk" parking area is closest to the door and can only fit Fiesta's and Prius's. Have you ever been in a bar/restaurant that is full of cowboy hats? It can be intimidating.
