It should be noted I was in fact an Up North type, but after close to 18 years am recovering quite nicely.

Probably could not have been a worse company to buy an OK company than Rapala.

I'm trying to work away from my northern roots, but as for companies that could be worse--Jarden maybe? Although, I would have put Pure Fishing right up there after Bedell sold his interest. Being a West Coast emigre, I still can't forgive what happened to Fenwick.

I think he is talking about the ones that have the round indention in the bill for the split ring to set in and the ones that just have a flat bill. Both of them are old style warts.

Gotcha, for your information Hunter I'm going to scan some old versus new wiggle warts and comparing the differences and posting them on here....laying the shape controversy to rest. Now the harder plastic I cant do anything about. I'm also curious about the differences in weight from old to new.
