fishinwrench Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Jason, any idea of your friends budget expectations? I've started buying up as many of what I consider "the good" older 9.9-35hp outboards and bringing them back to 'like new' condition. But I'm finding that alot of folks aren't willing to pay a fair price for them. Typically they can be found for 3-500.00 but will need an additional 2-300.00 to refresh them. Maybe a little more if you want it to look nice. That IMO is still better than shelling out the coin for a new 4-stroke POS.
Bill Babler Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I have a 25 hp. Pull Start Evinrude if that would do him any good. Been setting in the garage for 5 yrs. $400.00 if he wants it and it runs. Was perfect when I put it up. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Champ188 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 There are at least 3 things in this world that can never be too big. Two of them are bass and outboard motors.
