Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 20, 2014 Root Admin Posted January 20, 2014 Duane and I found almost perfect conditions last evening, fishing below the dam. North side of the lake, slower side, there were quite a few nice rainbows sitting waiting for shad to flow down. Still working on sound quality- my external mic hasn't worked right yet.
duckydoty Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Dang. We caught a lot of fish yesterday. And that was after crappie fishing. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Mitch f Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Phil's diggin the new camera! more than one tripod mount I see! Those rainbows are all fatties, is this from the shad coming thru the dam? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 20, 2014 Author Root Admin Posted January 20, 2014 Mitch- yes. They gorge themselves. Duane- if I put every hookup on the video, it'd be 40 minutes long... I left the clips where we hooked fish on every cast. It was a fun afternoon and evening. Wish I'd got to the Landing earlier though. You cleaned up!

Members bluetick1897 Posted January 20, 2014 Members Posted January 20, 2014 When do we get to see some of that Taneycomo crappie action on video?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 20, 2014 Author Root Admin Posted January 20, 2014 Pat- we had to have the eye removed. Fungal infection. It was too far gone to save.
