ScottK Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 March looks to be a repeat of Feb. Had to go and burst my bubble....
Quillback Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Long range forecast does not look bad, of course it's hard to trust it.

bfishn Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 From that website; "We derive our weather forecasts from a secret formula that was devised by the founder of this Almanac, Robert B. Thomas, in 1792.. Notes about that formula are locked in a black box in our offices in Dublin, New Hampshire." I can't dance like I used to.
Old plug Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I do not know if its planet warming or what. i think thought that over the last few uears there has been some fundamental weather pattern change sneaking up on is. I have noticed things like where the wind is has been coming from during the seasonal changes for one thing. It also seems to me that tornado alle is making a shift to the east. There seems to be more extremes and partly because of my age and a sun stroke in The Suez Canal the sun is more of something to be careful of. Then there are the Armadillos now all the way past st Louis.

bfishn Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I've been trying really hard to think of something good to say about the weather, and there it is. Haven't tripped over a 'dillo in the driveway since November. I can't dance like I used to.

Haven't tripped over a 'dillo in the driveway since November. I've seen and heard of quite a few dead 'dillos around, this kind of winter is why they used to live only in the south, I certainly hope this knocks them back for a while! ness Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Natural selection will eventually cull out the ones that don't look both ways before crossing the street. Then we're in for it. John
