Any Bald Eagles Around Eagle Rock Spotted

Since the nice weather approaching was thinking about heading down on Sunday for a boat ride and looking for some Eagles. Has any body spotted any numbers while out and about?

Saw one at mouth of owl creek about three weeks ago.

Yep, that and if a bunch of boats go into the spot, they'll spook the birds out of there.

Saw one over the Shell Knob bridge about 5:00 last night.

From the Kings River to Eagle Rock the last three days they have been everywhere if you look. Probably at least 6 or 8 pairs.

Day before yesterday they were doing aerial acrobatics in tandem. It was spectacular to watch.

Wednesday we saw them picking up a fish or two and setting on the ice.

In the 4 state area dont think you have to travel much to see them. Just keep your eyes to the sky. There everywhere. A friend of ours south of Joplin had there little dog, (around 15 pounds) picked up by an eagle. It flew off with it for about 50 yards and dropped it at around 30 feet. Dog came through it just fine.
