Jerry I had something similar happen to me years ago on clearwater while using flip Tail worms . I had caught a couple bass on a blue one out of at the end of the ramp at Piedmont Park Then they stopped I switched to the red one and caught a couple more. At that time I thought it be some fear smell the other bass left on the worm. Over the years though I have have caught bass on a worm till it fell apart. I still wonder about color since bass do see ultraviolet and infrared. who really knows. If they can see beyond our range they might see thing all together differently. I have always tried to keep in the natural vein in bass plastics. There is one thing though that sometimes turns the trick for me and that is red fleck. Maybe its the element of the infrared in there. who knows. I really believe some of these fancy fishing lines are seen very clearly by fish because of the material makeup. Maybe if Mitch sees this he could be persuaded to test the visibility of lines in the ultraviolet and infrared range. Might not matter much since they can hear a line in the water.

Ok, I have been waiting for years for a good reason to use this...... not that this is a good reason, but I am tired of waiting.

I came across this thing years ago and thought it would be funny to have it dangling from a rod rip during tournament take offs & weigh ins. It is a good conversation starter.

Is that an Upton's worm? Things are like $7 for one. I never could pull the trigger on those.
