J-Doc Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 AMEN!!! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
jdmidwest Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Hopefully it will thin out the ticks and armadillos. As of last week, 6 out of 6 bee hives have survived the winter. But it looks like we are probably going to get another month of winter the way things are going. ScottK Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Guy I work with just got his first hive last year, lost all the bees a few weeks ago. Winter storm watch already issued for Saturday thru Monday....good times.
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I'm worried about the ice forecast. I've become real fond of electricity over the years. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
ScottK Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 That too. I love camping, just not in my own house in February.
Quillback Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Saw a dillo on the side of the road today, rooting in the dirt. Surprised me to see one on a relatively chilly day.
Old plug Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 With all the frozen ground etc i bet they are starving. The MDC claims they cannot take our winters because they do not store food. I got to wonder though. those are very adaptable animals. My daughters neighbor shot one in her yard about two weeks ago on the top of a high hill in Herman Mo. I also have a spot a suspect spot in the yard.
jdmidwest Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I found 2 dead during the snow in Dec and have shot 2 on the farm since. There is no shortage. We do need the rain. Last time I checked ramps on Diversion Channel, there was about 15 foot of gravel past the end of the concrete and not enough water to run or launch a boat.
